Justice Brennan Leaves Hospital After Surgery

WASHINGTON —
Supreme Court Justice William J. Brennan Jr. was released from the hospital Saturday, less than a week after surgery to remove his gallbladder, a court spokeswoman said.
Spokeswoman Toni House said she did not know when Brennan, 82, would return to his office at the court but that he had been doing some work while in the hospital. No malignancy was found in the gallbladder, House has said.
