THE HAGUE — About 1,500 protesters, chanting anti-Soviet slogans and stomping on the Soviet flag, demonstrated Monday against the presence of Soviet troops in Afghanistan. The protesters marched to the Soviet Embassy to mark the ninth anniversary of Soviet military intervention in Afghanistan.
