Foreman Earns First-Round Knockout

BAKERSFIELD —
Former heavyweight champion George Foreman of Houston scored his 14th straight knockout Wednesday night, stopping David Jaco of Sarasota, Fla., at 2:03 of the first round.
Foreman, 40, floored Jaco three times in the scheduled 10-round bout at the Casa Royale Hotel before referee Robert Byrd stopped it.
Foreman, making a comeback, is 56-2 with 54 knockouts, Jaco 22-16 with 17 knockouts.
