CS Fullerton Faces St. Mary’s Tonight
Cal State Fullerton, which has lost 2 consecutive games after a 5-1 start, plays host to St. Mary’s at 7:35 tonight at Titan Gym.
The Gaels (9-1) are coming off their first defeat of the season, a 65-64 loss to Stanford Tuesday.
Fullerton is hoping Cedric Ceballos, who averaged 25 points a game in Fullerton’s first 7 games, rebounds after scoring only 2 points in 35 minutes in a double-overtime loss to New Orleans Tuesday.
Ceballos later blamed his performance on team dissension caused by players’ displeasure with his shot selection.
“I wasn’t ready to play Tuesday, because things people were saying were bothering me,” Ceballos said. “I’ll be ready for St. Mary’s.”
