Fullerton Wrestlers Defeat Oklahoma

Heavyweight David Jones defeated Carl Presley in the final match as Cal State Fullerton defeated Oklahoma, 19-18, in a nonconference wrestling match Tuesday at Fullerton.

Fullerton trailed, 18-16, before Jones won, 5-2. Scott Schumm pinned former Capistrano Valley wrestler Mike Phillips at 150 pounds and Erin Millsap (118), Martin Armendarez (158) and Paul Halewijn (167) won by decision for Fullerton (4-5). Oklahoma is 1-3.
