* Norman S. Matthews, former president of Federated Department Stores, will be named a director of Best Products Co., New York, and will serve as vice chairman. Matthews will assume these positions immediately after the completion of the merger of Best Products and BAC Acquisition Corp., the company formed by Adler & Shaykin for the leveraged buyout of Best Products.
