Reliving Normandy

I read the article about Normandy with much interest. As a young naval officer I was in charge of the first wave at Omaha Easy Red Beach. I still have the original chart I used that day and the original plan of the day.

My wife and I were at the cemetery several years ago. It is a lovely place. I would like to return to Normandy with my family for the 50th anniversary in 1994.
