From Times staff and wire service reports

Los Angeles City Councilman Nate Holden announced today that he will file a declaration of intent to run for mayor against incumbent Tom Bradley. Whether he will actually become a candidate in the April 11 primary depends, he said, on his raising $400,000 in campaign funds. “I am taking out the papers to file for the race, but I will run only if I can raise the money, period,” Holden said.
