Beating Victim, 23, Found in Anaheim
A 23-year-old Corona man was in stable condition at UCI Medical Center on Saturday after he was beaten unconscious by a group of men in Anaheim, police said.
Anaheim Police Sgt. Frank Van De Weerd said the victim, whose name was not released, was found sprawled on the pavement in the 1100 block of West Lincoln Avenue at 12:10 a.m. Saturday.
Van De Weerd said police did not know what motivated the attack, which he described as an attempted homicide. The beating took place in a light industrial area several blocks from the Santa Ana Freeway. No one has been arrested.
