“Gone With the Wind” will be playing in theaters across the country this year to celebrate its golden anniversary. MGM/UA is booking the 1939 classic in select theaters to give fans “the rare chance to view the film in its original glory and splendor,” says Turner Entertainment President Roger Mayer. “GWTW” will be shown at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Feb. 11 as a benefit for the museum’s film department. The tab: $75. The re-release engagement of the film will begin at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Jan. 30-31.
