Brazil beat the Netherlands, 2-1, at Rotterdam to win the first indoor soccer World Championship.
The United States finished third with a 3-2 overtime victory over Belgium. Peter Vermes scored 2 goals for the United States, including the game-winner with less than a minute to play in overtime.
Sixteen teams took part in the 11-day invitational.
