Local News in Brief : Huntington Beach : Pizza Restaurant Damaged in Fire
A pre-dawn fire caused $50,000 damage to the Good, the Bad and the Ugly Pizza Co. in Huntington Beach, authorities said.
A jogger in the area of the restaurant in the 19100 block of Magnolia Avenue, saw smoke coming from the building about 5:50 a.m., Fire Department Battalion Chief Tom Poe said.
The fire started in a small storage room and was beginning to spread into the attic when 16 firefighters contained it shortly after 6 a.m., Poe said. About 10% of the building was destroyed.
