Leland (D-Texas) in his criticism asks the question, “Should we allow the behavior of the Sandinistas to keep us from responding to people stricken by disaster?”
Typical of the ideologues who are so quick to blame America first, he fails to mention that right after the devastating hurricane the paranoid Marxists led by President Daniel Ortega passed laws that made it a treasonable offense, punishable by 12 years in prison, for a Nicaraguan to accept U.S. government aid!
