West Hollywood : New Chamber President
Attorney Mark Lehman has been elected president of the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for 1989. He replaces Tony Melia, who did not seek reelection after serving three consecutive one-year terms.
Lehman, 36, a former member of the Planning Commission, served on a citizens advisory panel that helped draft the city’s General Plan, adopted last September.
Melia, who is credited with helping revitalize the chamber during his tenure, said he wanted to devote more time to his insurance business. He will continue to serve on the chamber’s board of directors.
