Several on- and off-ramps of the Ventura Freeway will be closed for repairs this weekend, according to the California Department of Transportation.

From 9 p.m. Friday to 5:30 a.m. Monday, Caltrans will close all De Soto Avenue ramps, both eastbound and westbound. The Tampa Avenue westbound and eastbound off-ramps and Ventura Boulevard eastbound on-ramp at Vanalden Avenue will be closed for about four hours during the same period. The curb lanes of the streets near the ramps also will be closed.

Caltrans will pave, paint road stripes and replace guardrails along the ramps.

The work is part of the ongoing Ventura Improvement Project, to expand and repair the freeway from Calabasas to the Hollywood Freeway. Various ramps between Tampa Avenue and Valley Circle Boulevard will be closed during the next several weekends.
