Children Find Body Wrapped in Blankets
The body of an unidentified man wrapped in blankets was discovered by children playing in an alley in Southeast San Diego on Saturday, police said.
Police responded to a call at 9:20 a.m. and found the body in the 3600 block of Z St.
The victim had apparently suffered blows to his chest from a blunt instrument, police said. No other details were available.
Homicide detectives were investigating.
