Pasadenan Wants to Keep Downtown Y

Share

I am writing to express my concern about the closing of the downtown Pasadena YMCA.

I find it hard to believe that the board of directors for the YMCA would consider closing this facility with no plans to meet the needs of the members. Will a new Y be built, and if so, what kind of transitional plan has been worked out?

The rumors the last six months about the closing of the YMCA have been depressing, and I am sure have had a negative impact on membership renewals. Why has there been no communication to the members? Not knowing what’s going on is very frustrating.

I depend on the YMCA and want it to remain open.
