Shortstop Dave Concepcion accepted an offer from the Angels to attend spring training as a non-roster player. Concepcion, 40, completed his 19th season with the Cincinnati Reds in 1988 but was released Oct. 7. He batted .198 in 197 at-bats in 84 games.
