Freshman Anton Lifts Brea-Olinda
Freshman Jody Anton made two free throws with 4 seconds remaining to give Brea-Olinda a 64-63 victory over Buena of Ventura in girls’ basketball Saturday at Buena.
The Wildcats trailed, 59-52, with 2 minutes left before going on a 12-4 run.
Allison Bickel’s 15-footer made the score 63-62 with 48 seconds left before Tammy Blackburn stole the ball to set up Anton’s free throws.
