Shots Fired Into Topless Bar Wound Patron

Share

A customer in a Kearney topless bar was wounded in the chest Saturday night when two irate customers, who were kicked out of the bar an hour earlier, allegedly fired shots through the entrance, police said.

John Posk, 44, was in Dirty Dan’s, in the 4000 block of Kearney Mesa Road, about midnight when he was shot.

Police said that the two suspects returned after being thrown out of the bar and waited by the entrance. One pulled out a gun, fired five rounds into the bar, then both escaped in a yellow Toyota Corolla, police said. The management of Dirty Dan’s would not comment on the incident.

Posk was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where he was in fair condition Sunday, a hospital spokeswoman said.
