Local News in Brief : El Toro : Woman’s Body Found Near Marine Base
The nude body of an unidentified woman was found along Lambert Road near the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station on Sunday, authorities said.
Teen-agers discovered the body about 1:30 a.m. on Lambert north of Irvine Boulevard, Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Ken Lohrey said. The woman appeared to be about 20 years old, Lohrey said.
The cause of death is unknown, and an autopsy is scheduled today.
