Local News in Brief : 30-Year-Old Slain in Glendale Shooting
A30-year-old man was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon in a busy commercial area of Glendale, police said.
Police responding to a report of shots being fired about 3:20 p.m. found the victim in the 1000 block of North Pacific Avenue, said Glendale Police Sgt. Mike Rock. The man was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, where he died, police said.
Rock said the man did not live on Pacific Avenue. He said police have suspects in the case but no arrests have been made. Rock would not disclose the victim’s identity or how many times he had been shot.
