Cal State Fullerton will try to get even for a 21-point loss last month that Coach John Sneed called “a total embarrassment” when it plays host to Fresno State tonight at 7:30 in Titan Gym.

Fresno State beat Fullerton in Selland Arena, 65-44.

The teams also are trying to climb beyond the bottom four spots in the Big West race, thereby avoiding playing in the first round of the conference tournament.

Fullerton (13-11, 8-7) has won eight of its last 11 games. The Bulldogs (12-12, 7-8) made it close in Las Vegas Thursday, but lost to UNLV, 75-71.
