Dede Davidson raced to a 225-pin lead over Tish Johnson Tuesday after the fourth round of the $30,000 Ladies Pro Bowlers Tour San Dimas tournament.
Davidson, 22, closed the third round Tuesday morning with a 289 to overtake Johnson and averaged 248 for her eight games Tuesday afternoon to finish with a 34-game total of 8,435 pins.
Johnson, who had a 143-pin lead over Davidson at the start of play Tuesday, finished at 8,210.
Aleta Sill rolled a 300 game Tuesday to finish third at 8,191.
