Carl Lewis avenged two earlier losses to Cuban sprinters by winning the 60-meter dash in an indoor meet in Seville, Spain. Lewis won in 6.64 seconds, beating Cuban Andres Simon. American Mark Witherspoon was third and Cuban Ricardo Chacon was fourth.
