Wyle Laboratories: The El Segundo semiconductor and scientific testing firm posted a profit of $8 million, up 35% from the previous year. Sales for the year were a record $411 million, up 12%. The firm attributed the results to a 13% rise in sales in its Electronics Marketing Group in the fourth quarter and continued strength in semiconductor sales.
