Titan Guard Has Bad Ankle
Cal State Fullerton point guard Wayne Williams has a badly sprained ankle and did not practice Monday, Coach John Sneed said.
Williams injured the ankle in the second half of the Titans’ victory over Cal State Long Beach Saturday. Examinations Monday determined that the ankle is not broken, but it remains uncertain whether Williams will be able to play Thursday against Utah State in the quarterfinals of the Big West Conference tournament in the Long Beach Arena.
“It would be very positive if he could start shooting around and get the range of motion back on Wednesday,” Sneed said.
