Three parcels totaling 5.84 acres at the northeast corner of Ventura Boulevard and Hayvenhurst Avenue have been sold for about $24 million in what is being described as “one of the largest recent Ventura Boulevard commercial land transactions.”
Ventura Encino Ltd., a partnership of developers and investors, bought the property that was occupied by the Terry York Chevrolet new and used car agency, and a Mobil service station. A retail/office project is being planned for the site, sold by Security Pacific National Bank, as trustees; Des Plaines Valley Mercantile Corp. of Illinois and Terry York Chevrolet.
Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services spent more than three years assembling the properties and securing the buyer.
