I’m a hearing-impaired actor at my high school, where I enjoy acting very much. However, I was wondering when I’d see deaf or hearing-impaired people act on television. To my surprise, “Beauty and the Beast” and “A Man Called Hawk” did feature deaf actors. I hope other shows (and movies) get the same idea and start making episodes with hearing-impaired or deaf performers in them. This is a good way of making the public more aware of the deaf community.
