Nation : Dukakis to Lead N.Y. Greek Parade

NEW YORK — Massachusetts Gov. Michael S. Dukakis will lead this year’s Greek Independence Day Parade up Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue on April 9. The Federation of Hellenic Societies of Greater New York chose the 1988 Democratic presidential candidate to be grand marshal for the annual parade at a meeting Tuesday night, spokeswoman Georgia Stefanakos said.
