Local News in Brief : Santa Ana : Police Name Suspect in Sex Assault on Woman
An arrest warrant was issued Wednesday for a 27-year-old Santa Ana man suspected in the robbery and sexual assault of an elderly Santa Ana woman inside her mobile home last month, authorities said.
Santa Ana police also released a photograph of Essam Mousa Nesheiwat and asked for the public’s help to find him.
Santa Ana police spokeswoman Maureen Thomas said Nesheiwat is charged with breaking into the woman’s trailer and committing the attack and robbery during the early morning of Feb. 12.
According to Thomas, the elderly woman may have known her assailant as an area delivery man.
