Poll Closings
In response to “Deukmejian, Others Press for Uniform Poll Closings,” Part I, Feb. 27:
At last an elected official is pleading the case of the disenfranchised Western voter.
However, a clearer solution seems apparent--vote one day, tally votes the second day. National elections would then be truly “national.”
