Alaska Hit by Sharp Quake

PALMER, Alaska —
A sharp earthquake shook a large area of Alaska, but no damage or injuries were reported. The quake Sunday, which had a magnitude of 5.3, was centered about 170 miles southwest of Anchorage, officials said.
