Share

The Tokyo String Quartet will open the Laguna Beach Chamber Music Society’s expanded 30th season on Oct. 7 at Laguna Beach High School, society officials announced Wednesday.

The society has incorporated a Young Artists concert into the 1989-90 main series, raising the season’s concert total to seven.

Last year, the society had scheduled four Young Artists concerts for general audiences and four in-school performances. But for next year it has decided to offer all but one of six Young Artists concerts in the public schools.
