Airline passenger traffic at John Wayne Airport reached 320,142 in February, a 6% drop from February, 1988, when the count totaled 340,574.
Air carrier flight takeoffs and landings showed a 1.2% drop in February, while commuter airline operations increased 15% from the year-earlier figure.
Total aircraft takeoffs and landings decreased last month to 37,114, a 2.9% decrease from the February, 1988, figure of 38,214.
General aviation activity, which accounted for 80% of total aircraft operations last month, showed a 4.7% slide.
