Local News in Brief : Man Convicted of 2 Felonies in Fatal Crash

A Reseda man who was involved in a traffic accident that killed a passenger in his car was convicted of vehicular manslaughter and felony drunk driving Friday.

Glenn Robert Moss, 35, was convicted by Van Nuys Superior Court Judge Kathryn Ann Stoltz.

Moss and the victim, Fabian Gutierrez, 27, of Canoga Park, had been drinking with friends at a Woodland Hills bar early the morning of March 5, 1988, according to court documents.

After leaving the bar, Moss failed to make a turn at Farralone Avenue and Philiprimm Street in Woodland Hills, causing his car to overturn, according to the documents.

Stoltz scheduled sentencing for April 21. Moss is free on $5,000 bail.
