Share

A15 year-old youth was stabbed to death in a fight that started when residents of a Sepulveda apartment complained about people outside the building making too much noise, police said Sunday.

The argument began around 11:30 p.m. Saturday when residents heard a small group of men making noise in the driveway next to the apartment in the 8200 block of Langdon Avenue, Los Angeles Police Sgt. Mike Krecioch said. People in one of the apartments yelled down to the men, who went inside to the apartment, he said.

A fight erupted and Manuel Pena was stabbed. He was taken to Panorama Community Hospital, where he died, authorities said. It was not immediately known if Pena was a member of the group who had been outside the apartment.
