Five Northern California armories were closed to the homeless as warmer temperatures took hold. The armories were those in San Mateo, Sunnyvale, Sacramento, Roseville and San Jose. The National Guard said armories in San Rafael, Gilroy, Concord, Richmond and Redding were still open to the homeless when needed.
