Local : 2 Men Found Dead in Griffith Park, Raising Body Count to 5 in 10 Days
The bodies of two men were found Tuesday night in a van parked on a lonely stretch of road in Griffith Park, police reported this morning.
Officers said the cause of the deaths was not immediately determined. The victims--both apparently in their mid-30s--were discovered at a turnout on Vista Del Valle Drive by two park rangers on routine patrol. One victim was not immediately identified. The other’s identification was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The discovery brought to five the number of bodies found in remote areas of Griffith Park, the nation’s largest urban park, in the past 10 days.
