3 Held on Suspicion of Pandering, Prostitution
Culminating a 3-month undercover investigation, Placentia police Wednesday raided a skin-care and acupuncture salon and arrested three people on suspicion of prostitution-related crimes.
Lt. Daryll Thomann said Le Papillion Skin Care and Acupressure Salon in the 1400 block of North Kraemer Boulevard was raided at 4 p.m.
Thomann said Hwi Ok Kim, 49, of Fullerton was booked on suspicion of pandering. Chong Yon Chambers, 37, of Fullerton and Chun Hee Kim, 34, of Gardena were booked on suspicion of prostitution.
