The Rams signed defensive tackle Henry Brown, who was left unprotected by the New York Giants.

Brown, a 6-foot-3, 265-pounder, was originally signed by the Giants as a free agent before the 1988 season and spent the entire season on injured reserve with a groin injury.

The Rams also signed four other free agents--quarterback Christopher Parker of Cal State Northridge, wide receiver Thomas Henley of Stanford, linebacker Andre Lloyd of Jackson State and linebacker Thor Salonoa of Hawaii.
