UCLA Receives Grant
The UCLA department of pediatrics has received $100,000 from the Variety Club of Southern California for support of the Child Amputee and Prosthetics Program.
The program runs a multipurpose clinic for children with limb deficiencies or amputations. It also conducts research into the design and development of prosthetics for children.
The donation was part of the UCLA Campaign, a campuswide effort to raise $300 million.
