Tatu scored two goals, giving him 30 for the season, to lead the Dallas Sidekicks to a 4-3 Major Indoor Soccer League victory over the Lazers Friday night at the Forum.

Tatu snapped a 2-2 tie at 11:57 of the second quarter, then scored again at 9:41 of the third to give Dallas a two-goal advantage.

Lazer goalkeeper Kris Peat was pulled with 4:27 left in favor of a sixth attacker, a move that paid off just 25 seconds later when Daryl Doran scored his second goal of the night. But the Lazers fell short despite getting several shots in the last minute.

Doran scored his first goal in the second period to give the Lazers a 2-1 lead. Terry Woodberry tied the game just 51 seconds later.

Jim Gabarra of the Lazers was credited with the game’s first goal when Dallas defender Mark Karpun tried to give Gabarra’s rebounded shot back to goalie Joe Papaleo to clear. Karpun didn’t realize Papaleo was down in front of the goal and the pass went into the net at 10:33 of the first period.
