68 Hurt as Train Hits Cement Truck, Derails

LEMONT, Ill. —
A commuter train on its way from Joliet to Chicago slammed into a truck loaded with dry cement early Thursday, causing the train to derail and injuring at least 68 people.
Will County Sheriff John Johnson said the driver of the truck, James R. Krueger, 50, of Sauk Village, Ill., would be charged in the crash. He reportedly drove around the railroad warning gates.
