Terri Mann Has Surgery on Bad Knee
San Diego State’s Terri Mann underwent reconstructive knee surgery Thursday at Mercy Hospital and will be unable to play basketball for eight to 12 months, the school announced Friday.
Dr. Robert Straumfjord performed the operation, which included a restructuring of a knee ligament and removing a graft from her initial surgery two years ago at Western Kentucky.
Mann, former national girls’ high school player of the year at Point Loma High, transferred from Western Kentucky last December and is ineligible to play until Dec. 17.
