Dale Mitchell Scores 5 Goals to Sink Lazers

Dale Mitchell scored five goals, and the Kansas City Comets dealt a serious blow to the Lazers’ Major Indoor Soccer League playoff hopes with a 7-3 victory Saturday at the Forum.
Mitchell scored on every shot he took as the Comets increased their lead over the Lazers to 1 1/2 games for the final playoff spot. The Lazers have four games remaining.
The Lazers trailed, 4-1, when they rallied in the fourth quarter on goals by Daryl Doran and Michael Collins, before Mitchell scored his final two goals.
