North Speech Called Off in Ala.; Sales Too Low

MOBILE, Ala. —
A scheduled appearance by fired White House aide Oliver L. North has been canceled because of poor ticket sales, promoters said today.
Only 400 tickets were sold for Saturday’s appearance, said attorney Rusty Johnston, chairman of the Mobile County Republican Committee and head of the “South Loves North” committee.
