World : Canton Rallies Mark 28 Executions

BEIJING —
The southern China city of Canton held its biggest anti-crime rallies in years to publicize 28 executions, the official Legal News reported today.
Seventy-four other criminals were given jail sentences at the rallies, which a city official said drew over 10,000 people in nine areas of Canton on Wednesday.
