RAF Pilot Killed in Fighter Crash

LONDON —
A Royal Air Force pilot was killed Thursday when his Jaguar fighter crashed into cliffs near the east coast of Scotland, the Ministry of Defense said.
The Jaguar is used for low-level attacks on ground targets. The RAF has lost 38 of its original 202 Jaguars in crashes since 1979.
