A Cuban MIG-21 fighter jet on a training flight crashed into a house in eastern Cuba, killing its 22-year-old pilot, Cuba’s national news agency AIN reported. One person on the ground, a 26-year-old man, was badly burned, and four others suffered minor injuries. The crash destroyed the house and set fire to two adjoining residences in the city of Holguin, the news agency said. The pilot of the Soviet-made plane was identified as Lt. Felix Senen Delgado Martinez. The cause of the accident was not known. Cuba’s air force has about 250 combat aircraft. Holguin, capital of the province of the same name, is a city of about 500,000 people, 490 miles east of Havana.
